@Toby - Thanks for the link and info. Based off of what I read in that article I'm wondering if the EWS Allowed list is exclusive. Meaning that if I say to allow Outlook for Mac and MS Office 2010/2013 (which are the only clients we want to be able to connect), then set Entourage to False, if that will prevent any/all other mail clients from connecting without setting the individual users account settings (using set-casmailbox). I'll work with my team to see how we can go about testing these settings.

Is there a Mac guru that can go through the log and let me know what's wrong? I can't believe Apple makes such crappy products. I fell in love with Apple a couple of years ago and have ended up buying many Apple products, now I have started to hate my MBP I got for almost 3 grand just 2 years ago.

I think the problem is with the Outgoing Mail Server address that was given to me by the IT person - 'webmail.outdoordimensions.com'. Typically, when setting accounts up, I have used an address respective to the web access provider - i.e. However, this 'Exchange' account is something very new to me. Thanks again for your help.

Solution 1: Rebuild Mailbox • Open Mail app and click the inbox folder. • At the top of the screen, choose Mailbox. Select the:Rebuild” option at the bottom of the dropdown list. • It take some time to rebuild your Mail box depending on size of the exchange mailbox. Solution 2: Maintain or set 5000 messages per mail. Microsoft recommends 5000 messages per. So set 5000 message per mail.

Now the batt life have depleted by half the timing? Why is that so? I have charged it full before using ytd, and the laptop subsequently reduced the batt life to 1hr26mins when its still at 97% just because im importing photos from my SD memory card. The battery life continue to deplete massively from 97% to a drop of 65% after using for one hour or so.Can i do an exchange of battery with apple service? Is that within warranty? Info: MacBookPro, Mac OS X (10.7.2) Aug 31, 2009 I cant figure out how to set this up.

Users of Firefox 3 and Safari 3 (and later) now get the “real” version of OWA—the same thing that Internet 7 and 8 users get. And that includes presence support from Office Communications Server (OCS). Don’t take my word for it, check out the. That’s not the crippleware I remember OWA being on Safari. For companies running Exchange, the fact of an Exchange that no longer segregates OWA users carries multiple benefits. The number of “why can’t I” questions answered by “Because you aren’t on Windows” will drop. Support gets easier since the “which version of OWA” questions go down.

But if you operate within an enterprise environment, you may well not have time for workarounds and simply find Outlook the best fit. But if you or your users also need Word, Excel, and/or PowerPoint, Outlook’s almost certainly going to be included with the license your organization purchases, and firing up Outlook becomes a no-brainer. Just be sure to give Outlook time to open and then sync changes with Exchange before exiting the program. Which do you prefer: Mac Mail or Outlook for Mac? I believe, that despite uninstalling the software on previous attempts some remnants of the Microsoft DB or preferences were left behind. By setting up a test user OS X account and trying the Outlook setup again we can eliminate some possibilities. The Apple Mail setup could also shed some light..
