I want to add a style to my document in word for mac 2011. When I right click on the orange bar the options do not include format object (remember this is word for the mac 2011). The options are paste, decrease indent, increase indent, font, paragraph, bullets and numbering, look up, synonyms and translate. In the Toolbox, click the List button to reveal All Styles if they aren’t visible already, or choose a style filter. In the Pick a Style to Apply list, choose a style that you want to apply to the selected text. After you’ve applied some styles, click into the text of various portions of your document. Say you spent some time formatting text just the way you want it and you want to save that format as a style so you can use it again in your current document or another Word 2011 for Mac document. In Mac:Word 2011, if I put a style button on the toolbar, the document will cause Word to crash upon closing the document. Any new document based on the modified template (ie the template with the new button added to the toolbar) will cause Word to crash when that document is closed. All of the style colors and formats in a single style set are designed to be used together to create a compelling and readable document. Create a new style for the Quick Styles gallery. A Quick Style set contains the basic styles that you need to build a document. However, you may want to add a custom style.
